The CobraCrane 2 HD has a chain and sprocket tilt drive mechanism – perfect for the avid videographer and photographer, who are accustomed to using front-heavy cameras with large lenses. The chain and sprocket tilt drive adds stability, keeping it from tilting forward.
CobraCrane 2 HD supports cameras up to 30 pounds and is ideal for front-heavy DSLR's, XDCAMS, shoulder mount cameras.
CobraCrane 2 HD has multiple pivot points and adjustable cable chain assembly, capable of being mounted higher (up to – 14 ft.) or lower (ground-level), enabling you to capture the most picturesque shots at astonishing angles.
The CobraCrane 2 HD converts to a 6ft crane by simply removing the 4ft foot ends. Amazingly, you can break down this crane into 6ft. and 4ft sections, adding to its superb versatility.
Your break down time can be reduced to as little as 5 minutes, giving you more time to get from one "film & shoot" site to another.
For your convenience, our tripod quick release plate is removable for switching to your tripods quick release plate. It provides a secure fit onto your tripod head quickly and easily.

Tripod recomendations: Any tripod that currently is used with a shoulder mount Beta, Digibeta, Varicam, Arri, Viper or Cinealta camera will most likely do very well with a CobraCrane. Also if your tripod has a crank up head then its a good indication that its design is meant for heavier cameras and cranes. Keep in mind the size and weight of crane you plan to use.
