With the ability to boom a camera weighing up to 20lbs, the CobraCrane II + Extension Kit can reach 11 feet above the ground (on a 5-foot Tripod) and can go as low as ground level, offering smooth performance at a competitive price. The flexibility of the CobraCrane II + the Extension Kit will make this system one of the most popular tools in your toolbox.

Built for modern three chip camcorders, the CobraCrane II is a dual bar crane to capture shots like sweeping vista shots, panoramas and sporting events more dramatic than ever.

From ground level, the camera can be tilted up over 90 degrees giving an incredible perspective especially when shooting trees, buildings or to show how tall something really is.

From over the top, the CobraCrane II offers a tilt down perspective for the “larger than life” shot. It is also ideal for cooking and food marketing videos and other high perspective shots.

Combined with one of our tracking dollies the CobraCrane II offers the users a combination of incredible swings, booms, tilts, rolls and dolly moves.

Tripod recomendations:

Any tripod that currently is used with a shoulder mount Beta, Digibeta, Varicam, Arri, Viper or Cinealta camera will most likely do very well with a CobraCrane. Your tripod is not listed here it may still work. Look for the weight rating of the tripod you have on the manufacturer's site. Also if your tripod has a crank up head then its a good indication that its design is meant for heavier cameras and cranes. Keep in mind the size and weight of crane you plan to use.
